Fishing trips include: a licensed, insured, experienced, local guide, a heated boat, safety equipment, fishing gear, tackle, bait and flies, personalized instruction, cleaned, filleted, and bagged fish, snacks & drinks, and a shuttle back to your car at the end of your trip.
Our guides offer both conventional style fishing and fly fishing trips.
Our fishing trips are appropriate for all ages and skill levels.
Fishing trips are 5 hours for a half day trip and 8 hours for a full day trip.
Most guides like to start, especially when fishing for salmon, an hour before sunrise. This helps to beat the crowds and the heat in summer. If you prefer a later start time, just let your guide know.
Most of our fishing trips are run in heated drift boats. Drift boats are built for 2 guests and can hold up to 3. We can accommodate larger groups, with additional guides and boats.
We also offer fishing trips (for those interested) in rafts, specifically built for a more remote and adventurous style of fishing.
Fishing trips are downriver and we usually float 6 to 10 miles downstream from put-in to take-out.
What to bring
A fishing license.
You may also like to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, specialty food or drinks, etc. (there is plenty of the room in the boat).
What to wear
Rain gear (jacket and pants) and layered clothing are recommended (even in summer months it can be cool in the mornings on the river) and shoes that you do not mind getting wet. Keep in mind synthetic fabrics keep you warmer and drier than cotton.
