Fishing trips include: a licensed, insured, experienced, local fishing guide, safety equipment, fishing gear; rods, reels, tackle, bait and flies, personalized instruction, cleaned, filleted, and bagged fish and a shuttle back to your car at the end of your trip.
Our guides offer both conventional style fishing and fly fishing trips.
Our guided fishing trips are appropriate for all ages (as long as they are big enough for a lifejacket) and skill levels.
Most fishing guides like to start early, around sunrise, especially when fishing for salmon. This helps to beat the crowds and the heat in summer. If you prefer a later start time, just let your guide know.
Most of our fishing trips are run in heated drift boats. Drift boats are built for 2 guests and a guide but can hold up to 3 guests when a child or smaller adults are in the mix. We can accommodate larger groups with additional guides and boats.
Guided trips are usually a 6 to 10 mile downstream float, from put-in to take-out.
Our guides also offer fishing trips (for those interested) in rafts, specifically built for fly fishing or for fishing more remote river sections. These trips often require waders.
What To Bring
A fishing license.
You may also like to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, food or drinks (there is plenty of the room in the boat).
What To Wear
For most trips: rain gear (jacket and pants) and layered clothing are recommended (even in summer months it can be cool in the morning on the river). Dress comfortably and keep in mind that synthetic fabrics keep you warmer and drier than cotton.
