Catch a steelhead of a lifetime...where no one will see it!
For those willing to forgo the warmth and comfort of a drift boat for the versatility and safety of a raft, a whole new world of fishing opportunities presents itself. If getting away from the crowd and having a bit of an adventure in the "wild" while fishing for world class steelhead sounds good, we suggest rafting one of these scenic rivers: the Upper Umpqua, the Applegate, the Illinois, the Coquille Canyon, the Upper Sixes or the Millicoma.
Southern Oregon has many remote adventures, hidden gems, awaiting those who are wanting to get off the beaten path. In the winter, rivers fill and flow through deep river canyons that rarely see a boat or angler. Technical and demanding whitewater are the reason so few venture on these small rivers and creeks.
While these fishing trips are not for everyone, they are for most. Keep in mind that hiking, wading and portaging are all part of the adventure. We suggest that you have at least some prior fishing experience and proper clothing e.g. waders, rain gear, warm jacket and waterproof footwear.
All of our adventure fishing guides are licensed, insured, have CPR and 1st Aid Certification, Swift Water Rescue Training and extensive whitewater experience (including class V guiding). All safety equipment and gear is provided.
