Well in 2 weeks time, salmon numbers have increased quickly.
The Upper Rogue is at the perfect temperature and the spring weather is ideal to maintain river conditions that salmon prefer. A few summer steelhead have also already returned to the hatchery indicating an early return.
Our guides are currently fishing for spring Chinook salmon and will be fishing for salmon through the fall. Summer steelhead numbers will increase over the next month. Trout fishing reopens May 22nd.
Remember free fishing days on June 7th and 8th. You do not need a license or tag when fishing on these dates.
